January, this is a beautifully framed portrait. This photo seems to capture the animals and the environment as it should by bringing in those other subjects and settings that convey something that I assume is the essence of this couple.

You couldn't have asked for a better set of poses from the animals with the framing offered by the horse and the sitting dog, and to prevent this from too structured we have the sleeping dog. The sleeper also brings a comedic quality to the image and seems to fill our the sense of truth and joy that's captured in this image.

Your post processing enhances the image, making it just right with a touch of antiquing reminiscent of old school early photo portraits. I can feel Walt Whitman somewhere in the distant field singing his song of himself. Beautiful.
